The 2024 Dollars for Scholars Awards Ceremony took place on Monday, June 3, at Ruben A. Cirillo High School and handed out $35,925 in scholarship money.


Benjamin Bettinger attending SUNY Maritime College for Computer Science received scholarships from: Debra L. Weiss Make a Difference Memorial Scholarship and Long Acre Farms Award.
Mason Briner attending RIT for Mechanical Engineering Technology received scholarships from: Gananda Sports Boosters Award, Joshua Peter Bourgeois Memorial Scholarship and Foundations of the Future Award.
Reese Davis attending SUNY Fredonia received scholarships from: Debra L. Weiss Make a Difference Memorial Scholarship, Gananda Performing Arts Boosters Scholarship, Drumlin Square Lodge #1130 Award and Mail-A-Thon Award.
Madison Dohse attending Alfred University for Materials Science Engineering received scholarships from: Gananda Employees Care About Kids Award and Alex Fee Memorial Scholarship.
Michael Farley attending MCC received scholarships from: Sports Boosters Award, Coach Anthony Moribito Scholarship and Get-It- Straight.
Aidan Giancursio attending MCC/St. John Fisher 2+2 for Corporate Finance received scholarships from: Gananda Employees Care About Kids Award and Nettie Bullis Prize in Business
Colleen Ginsberg attending Steven's Institute of Technology for Computer Engineering received scholarships from: Gananda Community Youth Theatre, Gananda Central School District Distinguished Panther Award, Gananda Youth Lacrosse Scholarship, Alex Fee Memorial Scholarship and Mail-A-Thon Award.
Chloe Hetherley attending SUNY New Paltz for Visual Arts received scholarships from: Macedon Center Twirlette Award, Western Wayne Art Group Thomas McCune Award, and The Golf Club at Blue Heron Hills Scholarship.
Evangeline Jenny attending Palm Beach Atlantic for Business received scholarships from:  Walworth Grange Award, Airy Acres Sportsmanship Award, and Mail-A-Thon Award.
Juliana LaDuke attending LeMoyne University for Nursing received scholarships from: Emily Paige Bickert Human Spirit Award, Mrs. Beverly Nursing Scholarship, Alex Fee Memorial Scholarship and Foundations of the Future Award.
Katherine McGarvey
 attending either Syracuse University or University of Buffalo for Architecture, received scholarships from: K&D Academic Excellence Scholarship, Steinmiller Associates, Inc. and Ryan J. Loftis Memorial Scholarship.

Maria Melnyik attending University at Buffalo for Biomedical Sciences received scholarships from:  Dr. John Guerrieri Scholarship,  Gananda Sports Boosters Award, Mike Pane Student Athlete Scholarship and Mail-A-Thon Award.

Jacob Michaels attending Alfred University for Business Administration received scholarships from:  Invest Your Time Scholarship, Gananda Youth Lacrosse Scholarship, and J.D. Chapman Agency, Inc. Award.
Derek Morabito attending MCC for Robotics and Automation, received scholarships from:  Gananda Parents Association, Walworth Aux. Fire Dept., Walworth Chamber of Commerce WTCC Award, Walworth Fire Dept. and GDFS 911 Award.
Andrew Pitolaj attending Princeton University for Physics received scholarships from: Gananda Central School District Distinguished Panther Award, Abraham R. Bullis Prize in Mathematics, Lyons National Bank Valedictorian Scholarship, Foundations of the Future Award and Mail-A-Thon Award.
